Project Descriptions

Cafeteria-Style Two-Hour Virtual/In-Person Development Modules (Healthcare Client)

I managed a vendor during the design and development of 9, two-hour modules that could be delivered both in-person and virtually. The program was cafeteria-style for the leaders to attend a minimum number of modules but structured as a ‘choose-your-own-adventure’ program so the leaders could select based on their development goals. The module topics and objectives are based on the leadership expectations/capabilities we created with the client in previous work.

For this project, I :

  • Provided vendor with source documents around previous training and connections to other organizational initiatives and guidance on vision, objectives, leader population, and session design constraints and needs
  • Reviewed session design and provided feedback to the vendor on activities, content, focus areas and key topics
  • Reviewed the content with the client and provided client feedback to the vendor as well as made connections to internal services and resources to promote a cohesive feel
  • Coordinated individual train-the-trainers for a group of 5 facilitators; assisted with TTT on the materials, polling technology, and session content
  • Received participant evaluations and client feedback and used that information to recommend and made revisions to content

Annual Leadership Learning Summit (Healthcare Client)

In 2023, a healthcare client asked us to help design their annual one-day leadership event for 2,200 leaders. We repeated this project again in 2024.

For this project, across both years, I:

  • (2023) Created interview and focus group questions, attended and documented responses from participants, and themed their responses into content recommendations based around the client’s values.
  • (2023) Drafted leadership competencies from research and interview/focus group input that we asked for attendee feedback on during an activity; revised leadership competencies based on that input and client collaboration.
  • Designed the day’s schedule, identified appropriate content, and drafted presentation slides and scripts for senior leaders to present from stage.
  • (2024) Designed, reviewed with client for approval, and developed breakout room content aligned to two of the organization’s values and associated leadership competencies. Conducted train-the-trainer session for organizational leaders who would facilitate the content for the event.
  • (2023) Assisted with train-the-trainer for table leaders who would assist in conducting the activities for groups of 10 participants.
  • Collaborated with marketing and graphic designers to create participant materials and coordinate printing requirements and timing for materials, including additional printing of materials for follow-up reinforcement activities to be shipped to organizational development leaders.
  • Served as on-site support, adapting the content and activity timing when an executive speaker needed more time for their portion.
  • Crafted event evaluation survey as well as follow-up 60- and 90-day surveys post-event to gauge implementation and retention.
